1. Reliability and Validity are important to every study method. What are the
specific concerns that could threaten Reliability and Validity across all types of
methods? Also, detail specific threats for each study method (Observations,
Surveys, Correlational, Experiments, and Single Case).
2. Define a specific situation in which Experimental Methods (either between
subject, within subject, or mixed) could not be used and what method would have
to be used. Detail how you would use your chosen method to investigate the
situation. (A full methods section is suggested, but not required as long as all
details are included in explanation.)
3. What ethical concerns exist for all study methods? What specific methods
(Observations, Surveys, Correlational, Experiments, and/or Single Case) have
unique ethical concerns and what are they? Define all concerns.
