a. Course Requirements:
This course is delivered online. STC uses WebCT platform. Course content and course assignments are worked out on a course website. The instructor provides face to face assistance with orientation sessions and office hours.
The course activities focus in the discussion of concepts, methods, and techniques of the discipline. Active participation in class discussions is mandatory; participation grade points are based on preparation and substantiated participation.
Additionally, tutors in the Student Success Centers at all campuses are available to help students with their homework. Assistance with research and information technology tools is available at all STC libraries.
The casework project must progress on specific stages. This assignment will count toward the student grade. However, the instructor reports on students’ performance on this assignment separately for assessment purposes.
In addition, the instructor provides a written report on professional skills level of each student.
