Q: Suppose you are given a task to write an article on “Future of Online Education in Pakistan”.
For that purpose you need to gather information on different aspects of the topic. Therefore, you
must get answers of few questions before writing the article.
Give answers of the following questions which would help you in developing better
understanding on the given topic.
1. Today, why do students prefer online study system? Explain any Two reasons. (05)
Answer:
Students prefer online study programs because they can manage job with their
studies.
Students who do not have access to educational institutions in their remote areas can
manage to continue their studies through online system.
2. What challenges are being faced by an online student as compared to a student having
conventional mode of study?
Answer:
Access and familiarity with the use of new technology based system.
Electricity and load shedding crisis poses a big challenge for both students and
faculty in the online system.
As students do not get the opportunity to face to face interaction their faculty that’s
why communication gap between them serves as a big challenge for them.
3. Keeping in view the growing education needs and limited seats in conventional
universities, how do you see the future of e-learning in Pakistan? (05)
Answer: If we see the growing significance of the educational needs, we can say that the
traditional system prevailing in Pakistan is not enough to serve the needs of huge population of
Pakistan. Limited seats offered in the traditional educational institutes and inaccessibility of such
institutions in far-flung areas are the factor that predicts a bright future and scope of e-learning in
Pakistan.
