identification
As described in the introduction two
parameters are to be considered in
this project

POWER SUPPLY

Two kind of power supply is given to
the components The controller is
driven by the external power supply
Here, the AC power is converted in to
DC power using transformer, rectifier
and regulator
The controller provides two separate
constant DC power supply of 3.3V and
SV

LDR MODULE LDR uses the light dependent change of resistance according to intensity of light According to the voltage divider rule the intensity is measured as change of output voltage this is analog signal LDR the resistance of this device increases as the intensity of light decreases they have inverse relation with each other

IR SENSOR An obstacle avoidance sensor consists of an infrared-transmitter, an infrared- receiver and a potentiometer for adjusting the distance, shown in Fig Whenever an object passes in front of a sensor, the emitted rays hit the surface of an object and reflect to the receiver of the sensor so it will consider this as a motion

LED

This effect is called electroluminescence and the color of the light is determined by the energy gap of the semiconductor An LED is usually small in area , and integrated optical components are used to shape its radiation pattern and assist in reflection LEDs present many advantages over incandescent light sources including lower energy consumption, longer lifetime, improved robustness, smaller size, faster switching, and greater durability and reliability

16 x 2 Alphanumer ic LCD Module Features Intelligent, with built-in Hitachi HD compatible LCD controller and RAM providing simple interfacing 61 x 15.8 mm viewing area 5 x 7 dot matrix format for 2.96 x 5.56 mm characters, plus cursor line Can display 224 different symbols Low power consumption RELAY: Relay is an electromagnetic device which is used to isolate two circuits electrically and connect them magnetically

Disadvantages Life time is less compared to the digital circuits Power dissipation is high Flexibility is high High sensitivity

Applications

Industries

Parks lighting

CONCLUSION

  • (^) The presence of a central controller is bound to enhance the capacity of the system and can allow the designers to implement basic machine learning for distributed control through learning of typical patterns as well as prediction of variations from such patterns, allowing lights to be turned off or switched on in a semi-intuitive fashion, further lowering the power consumption of the proposed system
