Sports help develop teamwork and social skills. It helps cultivate friendships and bonds that can never be broken. In this environment you learn to work as and with a team. It gives you a sense of belonging. It helps players learn how to except and cope with humility, defeat and disappointment and that winning the game is not the only goal in life. It is how they functioned as a team and that they worked to achieve said goal. It provides an opportunity to become physically active and receive beneficial cardio and strength conditioning. These benefits will help lead you to live longer and healthier life. It will also promote a better diet and exercise regimes to aid you as you mature. It helps the player become more disciplined, to listen and follow instructions which will aid them academically, physically and in the workplace. Socializing among others or even complete strangers prepares you for the workforce environment and teaches you how to interact among a diverse range of races, age and cultures. Sports participation helps develop a player’s character. How they will respond and react in certain situations is a critical life skill that will be needed in the years to come.
