essential goods went up. People were employed which gave them
purchasing power. Someone said peo ple are consuming animals
with boundless appetites.

Farmers increased the amount of land under cultivation by draining marshlands less small farms used better techniques to nourish the soil this lead to raising more livestock, selective breeding. New Techniques lead to lower food prices. There was more disposable income and an increasing population. Things included silverware, shoes, china, and tobacco. TERM 7

Rococo

DEFINITION 7 A popular form of art was less concerned with monumental art put small art you could purchase at a small price and take home. These art pieces usually encompassed personal portraits, or sensuality rather than monumental. Music was very similar in which it was performed for common people Handel wrote Hallelujah. TERM 8

Pietism

DEFINITION 8 A mystical religion, deeply emotional, they encouraged intense bible study and was most present in Lutheran- Prussia. There was also quietism which was intense Catholics under Jeanne Marie Guyon TERM 9

Robert Walpole

DEFINITION 9 Was Georges right hand man who helped hi figure out pretty much everything because George didnt speak English. He was the first prime minister and was lord of treasury. TERM 10

Peter the Great

DEFINITION 10 he dragged Russia kicking and screaming all the way to great power status.
