VC 251 :: Week 01 1 of 1 30 September 2008
— Class Presentation Exercise —
Introduction ::
To complement material presented in class by the instructor, each student will be responsible for preparing and presenting one in-class demonstration during the quarter. This presentation should be brief—about 5-10 minutes in length—and focus on Photoshop techniques that either complements the in-class material or present entirely new information.
Assignment ::
Research or develop a Photoshop technique to present to the class. There are no restrictions on the type of technique—it can directly relate to our course material, be an extension of something we discussed in class, or a completely unrelated topic (a Web design or fine-art technique, for example).
You will have the instructor computer and overhead to use, including the ability to project your screen to each of the lab workstation’s. Other props or resources may be used or requested. If you have handouts, please let me know and I can have them copied for you. Your presentation should not be more than 10 minutes in length (there will be two presentations each class period).
Requirements ::
A successful in-class presentation of the subject that your selected, on the day that you signed-up to present. Place any files you create for this exercise in a folder named lastname_firstname_01pres and place a copy in the instructor's Drop Box on the XServe (XServe > Class Folders > VC251 > Drop Box). This exercise is worth 25 points.
