Introduction
DEFINITION 1
One fateful day, on October 1st,2002, in Winston Salem, NC, a
bouncing baby boy was born.
He grew up to be the most fearless wres tler in the land and was most
competitive at video games.
He had loved the color green for as long a s he could remember and
had an absolute hatred of snakes.
He was also incredibly smart.
In fact, he was so smart that he was acce pted into the Early College
of Forsyth and sits before you in this room .
His name is Luke Guldberg. Hi! My name is Taylor Simmons-Parsons
and Im here to tell you a little bit more abou t Luke.

Luke was born to two wonderful parents by t he name of Fred and Jenna.
While Lukes mom doesnt have any athletic traits, his dad has a love of
soccer and has played through his years. Bec ause of this, Luke likes to play
soccer non-competitively.
He also has 4 other siblings, made up of 3 sisters and 2 brothers, of which
Luke is the middle child.
One of Lukes pet peeves is when he asks one of his family members to close
the door and the door doesnt get closed com pletely.
He loves steak, especially if its medium rare (gross).
He also hates horror movies and has no pets , although he is considering the
addition of a dog in the future.
He enjoys math and has named it as his fav orite subject. He also is a
procrastinator.

During his elementary years, he attended Fo rsyth Academy.
During these years, he picked up the hobby of video gaming by hanging
around his cousins and became competitive ly gaming at the age of eight.
Moving on through his middle school years, Luke attended NCLA or the North
Carolina Leadership Academy.
He began playing the trumpet in bandclass a nd has been playing for 4 years
now.
He is now in high attending the Early Colleg e of Forsyth. Unlike some of us
here at ECF, Luke wasnt forced to come her e by his parents and welcomed
the opportunity.
Luke loves to wrestle competitively and has been doing this for a year and a
half. Since he has started, he has qualified fo r state championships and has
won a rookie state award.
Luke is working on earning his learners perm it and learning to drive within
the next two years.
He likes driving and plans to get his license on his birthday in the year of
2018.

When Luke goes off to college, he w ants to major in
engineering at Appalachian State Un iversity.
He likes the college because of the winter climate and the fact
that he gets to remain close to hom e.
He plans to return to Winston Salem and start his career.
While Luke knows that he wants to be an engineer, he is
unsure what type.

Ending
DEFINITION 5
Im positive that wherever life takes L uke, he will turn out to be
a great person and an even more am azing engineer.
He is very determined with lots of gre at traits and
characteristics that will get him very far in life.
He has a great personality and an ev en greater sense of humor
that will help him navigate his way alo ng his own unique path.
