The game is basically a race based on sheer luck and it is very popular among the young children. The historic version had its roots in morality lessons, on which a player's progression up the board represented a life journey complicated by virtues (ladders) and vices (snakes). The game is also sold under other names such as Chutes and Ladders , Bible Ups and Downs , etc., some with a morality motif; a morality Chutes and Ladders was published by Milton Bradley starting from 1943. Snakes and Ladders originated in India as part of a family of dice board games. He game was popular in ancient India by the name Moksha Patam. It was also associated with traditional Hindu philosophy contrasting karma and kama, or destiny and desire.
This Project aims at developing a Functional ,Good-Looking and Coherent Graphical Implementation of the arcade game “Space warcraft”. The gist of this project lies in learning about real-world usage of python GUI library called “pygame” and other related technologies.
The “Space Warcraft ’’ is a shooting game for a single player. In this game you have to destroy more and spaceships to make a highscore. It is a very interesting and entertaining games among the childern’s of age 12-16 years of age. Once the spaceship crashes you have to start a new game.
The Following is the list of technologies used in the project.
