Breathlessness: feeling short of
breath during activity, when
laying flat, or when waking up
at night.
Swelling: in the ankles, feet,
legs, or abdomen turn off
Coughing: Pain or discomfort in
the chest, usually in the front
Cyanosis: it's not uncommon for
the fingertips or lips to turn
blue
Fatigue: Feeling tired
Confusion: Difficulty,
Heart failure develops when there are changes to the structure of
the heart muscle and it can't pump blood as efficiently as it should
concentrating or forgetfulness
Blood (BNP) test: determine the type of heart failure and check for other illnesses
Echocardiogram: ultrasound of the heart that uses sound waves to create images of the heart
structure and function. This test will help determine the hearts, pumping ability and identify
problems like malfunctioning valves.

irregular heartbeat
