Addressing the Healthy People 2030 Vaccination objectives is crucial for understanding the recommended vaccines for young adults. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), young adults should receive several important vaccines. These include the Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis) booster, the meningococcal conjugate vaccine, and the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine. Additionally, it is recommended that young adults receive the annual influenza vaccine and consider the COVID-19 vaccine, depending on their vaccination history and public health guidelines (CDC, 2021). To enhance the understanding of vaccinations and promote vaccine uptake, several educational opportunities can be identified. Health organizations and clinics can conduct targeted informational sessions in schools and colleges, utilizing both in-person and virtual platforms to reach a broader audience. Additionally, educational materials, such as pamphlets and videos, can be distributed in healthcare settings, focusing on the safety, efficacy, and importance of vaccines. Collaborating with local community organizations to host vaccination drives can also serve as an opportunity to engage in discussions regarding vaccine benefits. An individual's opinions about vaccines significantly impact educational strategies (Lip et al., 2022). For those who may be hesitant or skeptical about vaccines, it is essential to adopt a respectful and empathetic approach. Using motivational interviewing techniques can help facilitate open discussions, allowing individuals to express their concerns and ask questions.
