FORM
Forms are easy to understand as we are used to seeing them three dimensional objects in
nature. But at the same time drawing the form is difficult than the 2d shape. But in design forms are
friendlier to the layman understand. While drawing the form draw the shape draw one side of the
shape of the object first and then give thickness to it and you will get the desired forms which is by
adding the third dimension to the shape this element of design is a good medium for the layman to
understand the design. The design made by using form are either to understand as they are three
dimensional forms are the best elements for conceptual design
Forms are three dimensional, a digital or physical form can be measured by height, width, and
depth. A form can be created by combining shapes, and it can be enhanced by color or texture.
CONCEPT:
Form refers to the shape or configuration of a building. Form and its opposite, space,
constitute primary elements of architecture. ... Both form and space are given shape and scale in the
design process
TYPES OF FORMS
GEOMETRIC FORMS (MAN MADE)
ORGANIC FORMS. (NATURAL)
Form adds another dimension to shape. A circle is a flat, two-dimensional shape.
When you add the shading that transforms the circle into a sphere, it takes on three-dimensional
form, like a ball you could throw or bounce.
