Language

English Language English is a West Germanic language that was first spoken in early medieval England and is now a global language, written and spoken all over the world.

Percentage of other Languages in English Language:

divided into three main

periods.

Old English (450-1066 AD) Middle English (1066 - 1600 AD) Modern English (since 1600)

Roman’s Attack on BRITAIN

  • (^) In 40 AD Romans attacked on Britain and named it Britannia.
  • (^) And released their Latin Language here.

Arrival of Germanic tribes in Britannia  (^) In 400 AD, After Romans, Germanic tribes migrated to Britannia for robbery.  (^) Those three tribes were:

  1. Jutes
  2. Angles
  3. Saxons

Combination of Languages Celtics

German Language = Anglo - Saxon

Set up of states in Britannia  (^) Upto 7th^ century, Seven different states were set up in Britannia by.  (^) And those seven states were known as Angla-Land, which means land of Angles.

Scandinavian Attack on BRITAIN  (^) In 8th^ century, Scandinavian attacked on Britain and settled them there.  (^) Those three tribes were:

  2. Sweden
  3. Norway

Starting Period of Middle English (1066.AD)

  • (^) People of the states of England started Communication with people of Spain.
  • (^) Here Spain was occupied by Muslims which leads toward the Arabic and Persian.
  • (^) As the Languages of Spain was Arabic and Persian, due to communication with people of England many of word of Arabic and Persian was adopted by English Language.
  • (^) With the combination of Arabic and Persian word or Language the Period of Middle English was started and period of Old English (Anglo-Saxon) ended.
