KatipunanwhoplanstorevoltagainsttheSpanishcolonizers.Rizalknowsthatbloodwillshed
andwillturnedouttobeuselessiftheywillexecutetheplanofBonifacioduringthattime,
becauseofthelacknessofpowerandcapabilitytoprotectthemselvesintermsofweaponsand
arms,theyshouldbepreparedandreadyenoughtoconfrontthebomb,asofthispointintime,
Rizalknowstheyweren’tready.
2.Takeastand:Whichisbetter,Rizal’sdiplomaticreformorBonifacio’simpulsiverevolt?
Defendyouranswer.
Personally,Ialwaysprefertheone’ssilentandmadebyapen,theonefirmlyusedbyintellectlike
Rizal’s,intermsofdoingmywork,simplybecausethat’smypersonality.Butaskingwhichoneis
betterthanthem alwayshurtmyheart,thesetwogreatheroesareoftenlybeingcomparedto
oneanother,askingbetweenwho’sbetter,andthechoiceoftenlyturntoinvalidatetheother.
Well,aswhatI’vesaidtheweapontheyusedreflectstheirpersonalityandwayoflife,thefact
thatRizalwashighlyeducatedandwasborntoawell-offfamilywillalwaysusehisintellectual
capabilitytoprotecthiscountry.Ontheotherhand,Bonifaciowhowaslesseducatedyetlovehis
countrymenandhisownnation,gatherallthemenandmotivatethem toearnthefreedomthey
deserve,heuseshisavailableresourcestoexecutethethingthesamewithwhatRizal’saspirefor.
Theyareboththekeytoourattainedfreedom,theyareboththegreatandmostnobleperson
I’veeverknowninmylife.
Henceaskingwhichoftheweapontheyusedisbetter?There’snone,becauseregardlessofthis
thing--Theyareboth“best”forme.
