WORKPLACE PROTOCOLS

Requirements Upon Entry – RO/ PO shall impose requirements upon entry of both employees and visitors alike in any DTI building. Management has the right to refuse entry to those who will not abide or fail to follow set protocols.  Safety Officer to check daily submission of the Accomplish Health Checklist (Employee & Visitors/ Clients)  Mandatory Wearing of Face Masks.  Those with initial temperature of over 37 °.8 C shall not be allowed entry.  Re-entry for employees who traveled outside their office of assignment (Official or Personal)  Antigent/ PCR Test Result  Health Clearance Form  Complete Travel / Mobility History Submission:  Deadline of submission is at least (1) one working day before the re-entry date  Submit documents to the HR via e-mail to CAR@dti.gov.ph  Mis-declaration or misrepresentation shall be subject to sanctions specified under DTI Code of Conduct, 2017 RACCS, RA 1132, and other pertinent laws.

WORKPLACE PROTOCOLS

Employees who are sick (with symptoms such as fever, cough, colds, coughs, difficulty in breathing) shall not be allowed to report physically at the office. Prior notice shall be given to the Provincial Director/OICs, supervisor, and HR/AOs.  Sick employees with COVID-19 symptoms shall be required to undergo Antigen test/ RT-PCR / medical clearance within 3 days and submit test result/clearance to the PD/AO/HR.  Negative – cleared to report at the office  Positive – officially inform the RO

WORKPLACE PROTOCOLS

 Contact Tracing Protocols

Exposures - To qualify as significant, should have happened two (2) days before or within 14 days from onset of symptoms of a confirmed or probable case, and may involve:

  1. Face-to-face contact with a confirmed case within 1 meter and for more than 15 minutes
  2. Direct physical contact with a confirmed case
  3. Direct care for a patient with probable or confirmed COVID-19 disease without using proper PPE.

Start of Quarantine - Determination of the exact dates for the quarantine duration shall be based on

the employees “date of last exposure” to the source of transmission.

HEALTH STANDARDS

 Cleaning and Disinfection of the Work Environment

 DTI buildings and offices shall be disinfected every weekend using chemicals for COVID-19; Office

premises/ work stations every 2 hours; Immediate disinfection of office premise if with COVID- 19

positive case.

 Alcohol / Sanitizers placed in strategic locations within the building.

 Centralized receiving of delivered items/ packages/ communications

 Online meetings are highly encouraged.

 Guidelines for Employees and General Hygienic Measures

 Employees are encouraged to bring their own food Meals may be taken at their respective work stations.  Personal Protective Equipment: face masks, gloves, gown and face shield shall be given to employees  Social Distancing

Daily Maximum SWF Size

Alternative Work Arrangements

Minimum number of employees to report on SWF during the GCQ and MGCQ shall not be FEWER than the set percentage GCQ – 50 % and MGCQ – may operate in full capacity. (DTI Advisory 21-02 & 20-44)  Mandatory onsite / SWF days per individual shall be in accordance with the minimum SWF days per month stated in the Advisory 21-14. Every employee shall be required to render SWF of at least 50% of a total number of workdays for the month.  It is suggested that each staff shall be assigned max of 3 days SWF and 2 days WFH in a week.  Requests for alternative work arrangements shall be subject for review and approval of the Head of the Agency. PO to submit request prior to rendering the AWA.
