The administration of Health Care HQ, LLC has met and have come to the agreed upon decision regarding the operating system currently being used by Health Care HQ, LLC. This agreed upon decision regarding the operating system is as follows: The operating system currently used is out of date, making it vulnerable and unstable. The operating system currently in use needs to be upgraded to an up to date system. Therefore, making it less vulnerable and more stability. With that being said, the administration of Health Care HQ, LLC has agreed on the purchase of a new upgraded, up to date system to replace the current system being used. The replacement of the old OS will have a major helping hand in Health Care HQ, LLC attaining a strong foundation. This will in turn allow Health Care HQ, LLC to benefit from the growth and development of the company as an overall whole. The proprietary operating system currently used by Health Care HQ, LLC is Windows 7. A major factor in the decision to upgrade the operating system is the fact that support for Windows 7 ends in less than 2 years, January 14, 2020, making its vulnerability high and it’s stability low compared to what it could be with an upgrade. Two years may seem like it is a long ways away, but in the IT world so much happens Ina 2 year time period. Advancements continue to happen everyday with computers and technology, which can and/or will make things difficult for Health Care HQ, LLC, if the system isn’t kept up to date as much as possible. Successfully, running a company would quickly become an extremely difficult thing to try to do. This meaning, the proprietary operating system, Health Care HQ, LLC, currently has in place is in need of an extensive upgrade to an operating system that is more up to date. In turn, allowing Health Care HQ, LLC to show growth and development, a benefit of having a strong foundation. Keeping the operating system up to date is vital in the safety and security of your company. Health Care HQ, LLC new upgraded operating system will be the MacOS by Apple. Other operating systems that are available for Health Care HQ, LLC, I do not think are a good fit for the company for several reasons. For starters, other operating systems are far less secure than the MacOS, making them far more vulnerable to viruses, malware, Trojans, etc. The stability, as well as, reliability are far better in the Mac

operating system than in other operating systems. Due to security being a top priority of Health Care HQ, LLC, upgrading to the Mac operating system is the best choice for the company overall. I think, the better stability and reliability, of an operating system, the better the relationship between the company and the operating system will be as a whole. This will be the confirmation of that strong foundation, which will be behind the daily operations running smoothly. I believe, the best operating system for Health Care HQ, LLC is Apple’s MacOS. MacOS is the best system for the company because of its security. Health Care HQ, LLC handles and is responsible for lots of personal information, so keeping it safe and secure is a top priority. The MacOS also has better stability and reliability than other operating systems, which in turn, I think, will make for a better overall system. Standardization is important because it gives rules and guidelines for an industry to follow. These rules or guidelines are terms that are agreed upon regarding a product or service specifically of a particular industry. Without set standards, the world would be far more chaotic and far more crazier then it already is now. Set standards ensures compatibility between different manufacturers. Standardization is also of importance because it helps lower overhead costs, while increasing purchasing power, for an organization. Non-standardized computers are far more expensive to set up, maintain, and also repair. Standardization helps with eliminating miscommunication and/or confusion happening between any and all involved. Standardization allows there to be an absolute way for everyone involved to be on the same page. It is an indispensable tool for development, used by organizations building trust of customers when it comes to products, services, and systems.
