The growing demand for integrating new technologies, such as learning management systems (lms), into educational processes. Lms provides support to instructors in reaching their pedagogical goals, organizing course content, and conducting online exams for students. The study investigates the factors that influence the success of lms, with a focus on skill upgradation, online testing, and the development of a web-based skill upgradation system. The existing system's drawbacks, the proposed system's advantages, and the functional requirements for the lms, including the roles of the controller, instructor, and students. It also discusses the system and software requirements, as well as references related to the history and trends of lms in education.

In the recent days, there has been increasing demand in joining of new technologies into educational processes. Learning Management System as a web based technology in educational programs, provides support to instructors to reach their pedagogical goals, organize course contents and support students and conducts exams to students. This study is an attempt to investigate the factors influence the success of LMS. “Skill Upgradation is the most important part of LMS training. In this project the organization needs to manage those training materials and provides as per students need. Online test is an important method of evaluating the success potential of students. A prototype of a web-based Skill upgradation system is described from the standpoint of the research effort, user, and software development.
A Learning Management System is the software that companies use to develop, deliver, and track training for the students. Until recently, hearing the word “training” made us think of a classroom with an instructor giving a lecture in front of students. Skill Upgradation contents providers to focus on creating effective assessment questions and focusing on exam’s feedback delivery to students. In this project we present techniques that are elements to the elements of assessment process: answers submission, computerized grading, and feedback after submission. As the modern organizations are automated and computers are working as per the instructions, it becomes essential for the coordination of human beings, commodity and computers in a modern organization.
The Controller, instructor, students who are attending for online skill training can communicate with the system through this project, thus facilitating effective implementation and monitoring of various activities of Skill upgradation like conducting Exams as per scheduled basis and delivering result to that student. And the details of students who attempted Online Examination are maintained at Controller.
Existing system is a manual one in which users are maintaining books to store the information like Students Details, Instructor Details, Schedule Details and feed backs about students who attempted training as per schedule. It is very difficult to maintain historical data. The following drawbacks of existing system emphasize the need for computerization: Lack of security of data. More man power. Time consuming. Consumes large volume of pare work. Needs manual calculations. No direct role for the higher officials. A lot of copies of question papers have to be made A lot of correction work hence delay in giving the results A lot of tabulation work for each subject result
This application is used to conduct online training and test. The students can sit at individual terminals and login to write the exam in the given duration. The questions have to be given to the students. This application will perform correction, display the result immediately and also store it in database.
To maintain an account for a training easily.
STATEMENTS OF THE PROBLEM of Learning Management System , which facilitates education using communications networks, has made learning possible from anywhere at anytime by using the Internet, wide area networks or local area networks. Notably, LMS applications which have become central to the learning process may be developed using proprietary programming tools. Meanwhile, the process of acquiring proprietary programming tools, the license and using them to develop large software application is not only complex but a huge sum of money is spent on the purchase and license. These have also affected the widespread and the level of usage of the system. A possible solution to these problems is to utilize highly flexible open source application that allows companies the right to reuse, study, distribute and localize the codes to satisfy student training requirements.
