[5] Students who attain a minimum GPA of 3.6, both overall and in the major, are eligible to enroll in POLS 5800 Honors Seminar in the fall and to write an Honors Thesis (POLS 5810) in the spring of their senior year.
[6] Once a student has enrolled at LMU and declared a International Relations major or minor, only LMU course work or courses from an LMU-approved study abroad program will be accepted for the major or minor.
[7] Units for required major course(s) that also meet the core will be counted towards the major. This does not take into consideration a major elective course(s) that may meet both a major and core requirement(s). If two
required areas are met by one course, the outstanding units must be met in the Elective units total.

[1] An average grade of C (2.0) must be earned in major courses. Lower Division requirements must be met before pursuing upper division requirements.
[3]A maximum of 40 upper division units in IRLT will be accepted toward degree requirements. Minimum upper division POLS is 12 units.
