Introduce yourself to the rest of the class
Hello everyone! My name is Jennifer, and I am excited to be part of this program with all
of you. I am engaged to a wonderful man who I enjoy doing life with. I am a mom to a 19-year-
old daughter and a lot of animals. I am from and currently live in Arizona where it is hot, and we
avoid the sun in the summer. I recently completed my BSN two years ago and have been
working in the mental health field ever since. I do believe it takes a special person to deal with
mental health patients and the crisis that they deal with and that it is one of the most
misunderstood specialties.
Provide any information you would like to share including your academic and/or personal
experiences
Outside of academics/work, I enjoy taking vacations, camping, and spending time with
my family. Every summer, we try to go on a vacation to just get away and destress from our
lives. I am always looking for different ways to balance school with some personal downtime for
self-care, so ideas are welcomed. I am looking forward to collaborating with all of you, sharing
ideas, and learning from everyone’s unique perspectives. I believe this program will be a great
opportunity for growth, and I cannot wait to see where it takes me.
