  1. (20 points) A pilot of a passenger aircraft takes o↵ and heads due east at 400mph. After half an hour, the pilot realizes that he forgot to board the passengers before leaving and hastily seeks to return to the airport. Unfortunately, his copilot decided that this is was a fantastic time to cut up 45 onions in the cabin. Unable to see the bearing navigation due to the onions, the pilot instead travels N 30^ W for 1 hour before realizing that he is completely lost. Using the Law of Sines or Law of Cosines, how far away is the pilot from the original destination?
