The Kissing Booth is a romantic
comedy based on the novel of the same
name by author Beth Reekles. The film
was released on May 11, 2018 by
Netflix.
It was one of the most viewed movies
on Netflix in the world.
The film is about Elle Evans (starred by Joey King) who has never kissed a boy and
is in love with Noah Flynn (Jacob Elordi), the older brother of her best friend, Lee
(Joel Courtney). But since they were little they have a list of rules and among them
is never going out with him... Or their friendship will end forever.
I liked the movie because it is a story very close to the book, in addition to the
message it leaves, which is to respect promises between friends.
I didn't like the ending because Elle and Noah broke up, which I don't think anyone
liked. I think they should have stayed together...
The acting was very good, each of the characters showed confidence, I especially
liked how Joey King thought about her best friend's pain before her own.
For me the movie is a 9 except for the ending, I hope that in the future they release
a sequel to it and the ending is favorable for Elle and Noah.
