Natural Science. It classifies the branches of natural science., Summaries of English Language

An overview of Natural Science, one of the three branches of modern-day science. It explains the importance of Natural Science and its three classes: Natural Science of Life, Natural Science of Bodies, and Natural Science of Reactions. The document also describes the fields within each class and their uses in healthcare, agriculture, transportation, communication, energy, and construction. It highlights the significance of Natural Science in our day-to-day lives and how it has helped humanity throughout the ages.

Natural Science
Science can be defined as the study of the natural world through experiments and
observation. Modern-day science comprises three branches: Natural Science, Formal Science,
and Social Science. Natural Science as the name implies is a branch of science that deals with the
study of nature and the physical world, for example, biology, chemistry, physics, geography, etc.
Natural science is considered the most important because, within natural sciences, many specific
fields are important to our day-to-day lives. It has helped humanity throughout the ages , and
many people seem to have little or no knowledge about how it works. All the fields in natural
science can be grouped into three classes based on their similarities, their related topics, and their
various uses: Natural Science of Life, Natural Science of Bodies, and Natural Science of
Reactions.
Natural Science of Life
This group contains the fields of natural science that deals with studying life and living
organisms. These fields are biology, anatomy, botany, ecology, zoology, genetics, microbiology,
and physiology. Biology can be defined as the general study of life including microorganisms,
plants, and animals. This is the biggest branch of natural science of life because it has contents
and details from all other fields. Anatomy deals with identifying and describing the structure of
living things and their various parts. Botany, which is also known as plant biology, is the study
of plants and their structures. Zoology is the study of animals, their behavior, and their
classification. Ecology deals with the study of the interaction between living things and to each
other and their environment. Genetics is a branch of science that deals with studying genes and

Zoology is the study of animals, their behavior, and their classification. Ecology deals with the study of the interaction between living things and to each other and their environment. Genetics is a branch of science that deals with studying genes and

heredity. Microbiology is the study of organisms that are not visible to the naked eye (microorganisms). Physiology is the study of the bodily functions of the parts of living things. All these fields are important in terms of healthcare and agriculture. In healthcare, they are used to find the causes of diseases, know how they spread, locate the affected areas in the body, and find the cure. In agriculture, ecology is used to identify certain environments where different plants can be able to grow and be cultivated. Genetics is also used to create varied species of plants or modify them. Natural Science of Bodies Within the natural science of bodies, there are the fields of physics, geography, and astronomy. These deal with matter, its motion, and its physical reaction. Physics deals with the study of how matter moves through space and time, alongside its physical reactions. Various forms of energy are also studied in physics. Astronomy is the study of the planets, universe, and outer space. Geography is the study of the earth and its physical features. The studies these fields cover involves small or large bodies of matter, the impact they have, and how to manipulate them to gain benefits. The natural science of bodies is used in modern-day transportation, communication, converting energy, and construction. In transportation, physics is used to make the structure of planes streamlined to avoid drag and gravitational pull by the earth. In space travel, astronomers and physicists work together to find a certain trajectory and speed for the path of travel. In sea travel, physics is used to make a boat or ship less dense and avoid sinking. In construction, geography is used to identify the form of certain landscapes and climates to be able to know where to build and how to build. In energy, astronomy and physics are used to convert solar energy to electricity, and physics is also used to create other forms of energy with the impact of matter(friction).
