One Convenience Store is one of the business establishments that needs modernization for payroll management. Thus, the researcher of the system named “One Convenience Store Payroll System” aims to provide an automated application that will help this business to have vital protection for complying with payment regulations, and streamline their business and eliminate the human error factor.

Payroll ordering system of the One Convenience Store is aimed for major problems for technical risk, operational risk and specially the security of the system. One Convenience Store is one of the famous convenience store in the country. This store aims to make their service more efficient and reliable for their customers. The researchers proposed payroll system for the benefits of both the employees and specially the management of the.
Payroll encompasses every employee of a company who receives a regular wage. It is the sum of all financial records of salaries for an employee, wages, bonuses and deductions. All of these different payment methods are calculated by payroll personnel and the appropriate payslips are issued. Payroll has been designed to remove the time and effort that is normally associated with payroll and to provide a direct and seamless operation that enables the employer to handle all staff and payment processes in a simple and accurate manner. Due to the non-availability of a proper database management system all the data is handled manually by the One Convenience Store Payroll Manager or Personnel. Because of large volume of payroll data and calculations, it is very difficult to handle the data manually and delayed the pay roll process. This created an immediate need to develop a new computer based payroll database system to avoid the delay in generating pay bills, payment reports, pay slips and so on. The researchers proposed to develop a Payroll System that allows One Convenience Store to generate pay slips and salary register, based on the attendance of the employees taking care of leaves, overtime, and other standard deductions. There’s no other business process that’s more unfavorable towards employee satisfaction than incorrect and improper payroll management. With this Payroll System, One Convenience Store can ensure timely processes, aside from increasing staff productivity and cutting costs. Shifting to this payroll automation offers many benefits to the employees and to the employers of the One Convenience Store. The processing efficiency can be increased considerably by including automatic calculations and fast data retrieval capabilities. This will dramatically reduce the manual error of manual payroll processing.

One Convenience Store has been discovered that calculating the payroll of its employees by the manual process can be more prone to errors, inaccurate and burdensome. Also, it has been discovered that the development and use of an application are more cost-effective than the manual system. Therefore, an automated Payroll System, a secured application will improve on the way employees are being paid shall be developed for the One Convenience Store.
Scope: This project is designed to develop a computerizes payroll system for One Convenience Store. It covers the process of preparing the pay slip of each employee, keeping of record safety and computing the exact wages of each employee. Including the stored report list of employee such as Semi-monthly Salary, Basic Pay, Overtime, Overtime with night differential, Allowances and other bonuses, Gross Pay, Net Pay Deductions such as SSS Premium, Withholding Tax, SSS Loan, Pag-ibig Loan, PhilHealth, Absences. The proposed Payroll System for One Convenience Store is expected to generate Pay Slip of Employee, Semi-monthly pay period. Delimitation: No other currencies are computed in the system but Philippine Peso only. The proposed system cannot be accessed online and it focuses only on the employees’ DTR and Payroll of One Convenience Store. The necessary required remittance form given by the SSS, PAG- IBIG, PHILHEALTH will be remitted manually. This proposed system is only applicable and can only be used by One Convenience Store only.
Payroll – payroll is the sum of all financial records of salaries, wages, bonuses, and deductions. Records – a collection of related items or information treated as a unit by a computer. Salary – is a form of periodic payment from an employer to an employee, which may be specified in an employment contract. It is contrasted with piece wages, where each job, hour or other unit is paid separately, rather than on a periodic basis. Deduction – A deduction is an amount you can subtract from your gross income or adjusted gross income to lower your taxable income when you file your income tax return. Employee – a person who is hired to provide services to a company on a regular basis in exchange for compensation and who does not provide these services as part of an independent business. Permanent – This is the most common form of employment. A person is employed on an indefinite basis, subject to a probationary period that is reasonable with reference to the nature of the job. Contractual – Any provision forming part of a contract. Each term gives rise to a contractual obligation, breach of which can give rise to litigation. Pagibig Percentages – is used to express how large/small one quantity is, relative to another quantity. Pay Slip – is a document an employee receives either as a notice that the direct deposit transaction has gone through or as part of their paycheck.
