PASSION CAMP 2023

PARENT GUIDE

What is Passion Camp?

Passion Camp is centered around the glory of Jesus. Middle and high school students gathered together for four days of worship, teaching, and community. Not to mention, four fun days on the shores of Daytona Beach! We want middle schoolers and high schoolers to leverage their lives for what matters most — the fame and glory of Jesus!

What happens at Passion Camp?

Worship — We want our love for Jesus to be obvious. We sing it loud. Throughout the week, your students will be led by Passion Music and other special guests. Teaching — Students come alive when they realize that the greatest life is one that is leveraged for the fame of Jesus. Louie Giglio and many others will both encourage and challenge your students to live for what matters most. Squads — Every student will be a part of the high energy, fast-action Squad Wars that take place each morning. At the end of the week, only one Squad will prevail! Lifebridge’s Squad color is yellow!

Frequently Asked Questions

What do groups do during free time?

Students are able to walk in the areas surrounding the hotel, relax on the beach, or hang out at the hotel. Some local boardwalk and attractions are off limits to students. All students must have a leader with them at all times.

Who is responsible for my student?

Our group consists of approximately 160 students and 40 leaders. Leaders will be assigned a grade within their gender to lead in small group time, and to share a room with. During free time, students may be chaperoned by any leader, regardless of their grade assignment.

Who will my student stay with?

Lifebridge Church has secured a block of rooms at the Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort. Each room accommodates up to four people. Depending on the number of registrations per grade, each room will have either four students or three students plus one leader. Some students will sleep on an air mattress.

Can my student bring a friend?

Registration is currently full, but friends are welcome to join the waitlist in case of cancellations.

How can I help?

We have seen God move miraculously through our students and are expectant for Him to do the same this year. Please be in prayer for our students and leaders as we prepare for Passion Camp, during the week of, as well as the following weeks. You can also join us as we rely on the generous giving of the Lifebridge community in order to cover the costs of student scholarships, leader tickets, buses, and other miscellaneous expenses.
