Scotch college is seeking a passionate and qualified politics and law teacher to join their senior school in january 2018. Scotch College has the opportunity for a passionate Politics and Law specialist teacher to join the Senior School in January 2018. For 2018 the position will be 0.8 FTE in Terms 1 and 2 and 0.6 FTE in Terms 3 and 4. Beyond this, the FTE will vary depending on the requirements of the faculty. The successful candidate must have: A Humanities and Social Sciences teaching background specialising in Politics and Law A high level of WA curriculum knowledge and an ability to impart this knowledge to students effectively Relevant knowledge to plan, deliver and assess the teaching and learning curriculum Exceptional communication, presentation and teamwork skills The ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, parents and members of the broader College community Our ideal candidate is an exemplary practitioner with the ability to inspire students and promote personal achievement.
