used to build these monumental structures

- is the process of extracting natural stone, gravel,
and sand from the ground.
2. Transport
- The blocks, which weighed an average of 2.5 tons,
were transported to the construction site. It's
believed that sledges, rollers, and possibly water
were used to move these heavy stones across the
sand.
