  • I/M's who will be deported post-incarceration require secure perimeters
  • I/M's with confidential placement needs require special housing
  • I/M's serving LWOP require level 4, or level 2-3 with an electrified fence unless approved by the DRB
  • I/M's labeled serial killers require level 3-
  • I/M's without a parole date within 3 years require level 2-
  • I/M's with death sentences commuted or modified require transfers to RC's for reconsideration
  • I/M's with a case factor per subsections 3377.2(b)(2)(A), 3377.2(b)(2)(B), or 3377.2(b)(2)(C) shall be ineligible for min custody
  • I/M's guilty of a "walkaway" (not to include drug treatment furlough, community correctional re-entry centers, and community re-entry programs) shall not be placed in min custody for at least 10 years following the latest walkaway
  • A validated STG-1 associate/member requires a review of the I/M's case factors by an ICC who deems they would not pose a threat
  • I/M's serving "life with parole" require level 2-4 housing in a "secure" facility and can only attend programs inside a secure perimeter, unless overruled What security levels do "life with parole" I/M's usually house with? - 2 or higher When can "life with parole" I/M's house in non-secure facilities or attend programs outside of the perimeter? - If the following apply:
  • Preliminary score is 18 or less
  • Most recent BPH resulted in no more than a 3 year denial
  • Most recent CRA deems risk of violence as low or moderate, or they have been granted parole by the BPH
  • Does not have a current VIO AD imposed

  • Does not have an "R" suffix imposed
