You must show all your work. Partial credit will be given.
1. Find all possible symmetries for the two figures below. (both line and rotation, if they exist.)
2. Consider the analytic definition of a Rhombus and the analytic definition of a Parallelo-
gram. Sketch a picture of a parallelogram. Is your picture a Rhombus? Could you draw a
Parallelogram which is a Rhombus? If so, draw one, if not explain.
3. Assume that lines land mare parallel. What is m(63), if the m(66) = 63? What is the
m(64)?

  1. Sketch an isosceles trapezoid and show all of its symmetries (both line and rotational).
  2. For each of the following geometric types some of the vertex angles are listed. Find the other vertex angle.

(a) Triangle: one angle measures 25◦^ another angle measures 75◦, what does the third angle measure?

(b) Kite (Not a rhombus): Two opposite angles measure 115◦, what do the other angles measure?

(c) Hexagon: Angles of measure 105◦, 125◦, 115◦, 135◦, 155◦^ exist, what is the measure of the 6th^ angle?

  1. Find all possible symmetries for the two figures below. (both line and rotation, if they exist.)
  2. Suppose we know that the m(^6 6) = 61◦^ and m(^6 2) = 119◦. Are the lines l and m parallel or not parallel?
