DEFINITION 1
"Hearer of the Cries of the world." Appears in many forms
according to the particular situation. For example if you are
broken down on the side of the road Avalokiteshvara might
appear as help. Similar to a gaurdian angel in other religions.

DEFINITION 2
A sadhu is the mystic practioner of yoga. He is completely
dedicated to the reaching moksha. He is a wandering
asthetic man.

Tanakh(Judiasm)
DEFINITION 3
is the sacred text that is composed of three main parts. The
Torah (book of moses), nevium (prophets), and the kevitum
(writings).

Caliph (Islam)
DEFINITION 4
The head of state in a Caliphate, and the title for the leader
of the Islamic Ummah, an Islamic community ruled by
Shari'ah.
TERM 5
Ka'aba(Islam)
DEFINITION 5
A shrine in the shape of a cube built for Allah built by
Abraham and Ishamel. It is the site of a meteorite and also a
sacred place of worship for Muslims. A devout Muslim must
visit according to the five pillars.

Apocalypticism (Judiasm)-

DEFINITION 10 "The revvelation of hidden things." A cosmic battle between Good and Evil. Where the head will be resurrected and the faithful will be taken to a new era.

Lama (Buddhism)

Guru or spiritual teacher. Sometimes this can be another form of Avalokiteshvara, an ecample of this would be the Dahli Lama. TERM 17

Prana/Pranayama

(Hinduism)-

DEFINITION 17 Prana means breath and pranayama is the forecful restraint of breathing. It is done by will power and it's goal is to clear the mind and reach a stage of clarity. TERM 18

DEFINITION 18 Practice of non violence to not only animals but all of nature. Important also in Buddhism.
