ScINet-Phil Integrated Management Library System (SILMS), Cheat Sheet of Computer Fundamentals

The silms, a homegrown integrated library management system (ilms) initiated by stii in cooperation with dost scinet librarians and it experts. Silms aims to assist in managing computerized library collections, making tasks easier and faster, and providing more time for active reference service to clients. The system includes various modules such as acquisitions, library holdings management, patron management, circulation management, report generation, and administrative and security management. It also features an online public access catalog (opac) and supports standard marc field tags. Detailed information on the different material types, cataloging process flow, and the functionalities of each module within the silms.
