DEFINITION 7 There are 3 major things you can do for treatments Bone Marrow TransplantationAlmost all patients with SCID require BMT. in an article by the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance they say that BMT provides SCID patients with a functioning immune system that is capable of protecting them from infections(Treatment Options 1).This can be the cure for the disease and it can be highly effective in the majority of patients. TERM 8

treatments 2

DEFINITION 8

~Enzyme Replacement TherapyThe patient can be given

enzyme replacement therapy which can allow their immune
