Download .Net framework 4.0 (if required by MySQL Installer) https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/download/details.aspx?id= Download the Installer from https://dev.mysql.com/downloads/installer/ Run the installer Select Accept the license terms and click Next Select Full installation Click next

Click Execute

Once done; click Next

Choose the defaults and click next

Give some good password for root user; Note – Do remember it !!!

Choose the defaults and click Next

Click Execute.

Click Next

Click the check button once and verify if connection is successful or not. And click Next

Click Finish Click Next

Click Finish; Check if MySQL Workbench is available under the applications or not. If Not then run the installer one more time,

Find MySQL Workbench under Applications, MySQL Workbench, select and click the right arrow button ->

Click Next
