animals in which there is a decrease in psychological
response and behavioral response to a stimulus after
repeated exposure to that stimulus over a duration of time.

Habituation

Habituation is the psychological process in humans and animals in which there is a decrease in psychological response and behavioral response to a stimulus after repeated exposure to that stimulus over a duration of time. TERM 2

DEFINITION 7 -Believed we come into world with nothing in our brains. "Tabula rosa"-blank slate. -However, it is easy to associate bad taste and illness (i.e. drinking alcohol) to the point where it can make you sick next time you try it. -But, it is difficult to learn color is associated with illness. Different animals learn some things easier than others (i.e. birds are more attuned to vision, rats are more attuned to smell and taste. -Lock was a British Empiricist TERM 8

DEFINITION 8 In philosophy, empiricism is a theory of knowledge that asserts that knowledge arises from sense experience. TERM 9

Associationists

DEFINITION 9 Ideology that says all knowlege is gained through connecting/inferring (associating) information. TERM 10

DEFINITION 10 Experiencing things together. Two types: Temporal-time; Spacial-physical space.
