Project: Using the Product
Component Model as a reference to
adapt a product for a market. You will
be assigned the product and a market.
Focus on finding creative attributes
(functions, uses) for the product which
right now are not evident and that will
make it desirable to your market.
Deliveries: Your project consists of:
1. A five-minute oral presentation,
using a five-slide PowerPoint template
(available in our website) explaining
your product adaptation.
2. One copy of an executive
summary using a Word template
available in our website, and
3. A package (i.e. box, bag, etc.) for your product
that enhances your marketing concept.
Dates of Presentation dates: These dates cannot be changed:
- First Presentation Day: First half of class. Exact date will be given in class.
- Second Presentation Day: Second half of class. Exact date will be given in class.
If you miss your presentation date, your grade for this project will be a zero.

1. Hispanics in the U.S.
2. Children in the U.S.
3. African-Americans in the U.S.

5. Women in the U.S.
6. Nigeria --entire market
7. Men in the U.S.
