Positive Reinforcement

Negative Reinforcement

DEFINITION 19 increasing behaviors by stopping or reducing negative stimuli. A negative reinforcer is any stimulus that, when removed after a response, strengthens the respinse (Note: Negative reinforcement is not punishment)
