The
Little
Prince
When the narrator was six years old,
he drew a picture of the boa
constrictor swallowing an elephant
which adults thought was a lumpy
hat and advised him to focus on
important subjects instead. He felt
discouraged and then realized that
adults lack imagination and
understanding.
He encountered the little prince,
a very serious little blond boy
who asked him to draw a sheep.
The narrator draws multiple
sheep for the prince, and the two
become friends.
His first stop after leaving his own
tiny planet is an asteroid on which
lives a purple-robed king. A king
with no subjects, who only issues
orders that can be followed.

Years later, the narrator
becomes a pilot, crashes in the
Sahara desert. The crash
damaged his airplane and left
him with very little water.
The little prince has a small
planet, only the size of a house.
There's a unique flower that he
loves and takes care of.
The little prince left his planet
after he organized it and said
goodbye to his flower. He used
the migration of birds to travel.
On the second planet, the prince
meets a vain man wearing an
odd hat who greets him as an
admirer.
