*If you would like to share your room, it is up to you to find a roommate and make financial arrangements between yourselves. Full
payment is due from the person making the reservation when the room is reserved. Please notify us with name of the person sharing
your room no later than JUNE 13th, 2016 so that your roommate can check-in and receive a room key upon arrival. Maximum of two
persons per room.
The Smith-Steeb Hall Building or Park-Stradley Hall
Smith-Steeb and Park-Stradley are both an eleven story residence hall with resident rooms on
floors two through eleven. The buildings have the following features:
Each traditional air conditioned room comes with a twin bed(s) (single or double occupancy only).
1) Full Service bed linens package (pillow, pillowcase, mattress cover, sheets, and blankets) and bathroom
amenities (towels, wash cloths and soap). Housekeeping will clean the room prior to arrival but will not
re-enter the room until after all guests have departed. Linens can be exchanged at the Summer
Conference Housing main desk at any time.

Each floor has community “pod-style” bathrooms: two female-specific bathrooms (community sink area and
individual-use, private, lockable rooms with shower and toilet; and two male-specific bathrooms (community sink
area and individual-use, private, lockable rooms with shower and toilet).
Hall Desk staffed 24 hours/day to respond to resident's inquiries
Study / lounge space on each floor
Kitchen facilities onsite
Laundry facilities onsite
15 minute bus ride to Greater Columbus Convention Center (GCCC). Central Ohio Transit Authority - 614-228-1776
No Alcohol or Smoking is permitted anywhere on OSU campus.

Question: When can I check in?

After 11:00 am on your scheduled day of arrival. In order to adequately prepare your room for your

arrival, we ask that you do not attempt to check-in earlier than this time.

Question: Where do I check in?

The Summer Conference Housing front desk in Smith-Steeb is the main check-in location for

summer programs.

Question: Are phones provided in each room?

Due to the popularity of cell phones amongst our guests, OSU has opted to remove the phones

from our residence halls.

Question: Can my guests bring their computers and connect to the internet in their rooms?

Guests will only have access to the “OSUGuest” wireless network, which is free to use and does

not require username/password authentication.

Question: I am checking out at 11:00 am, but my flight doesn't leave until the evening. Can I

leave my luggage at your office during the day?

Please let our office know if you would like to store your luggage and we will make arrangements

for this service.

Question: If I'm driving to the University, where can I park?

Information on purchasing a parking pass from CampusParc can be found by

Question: My flight got delayed, so I won't be arriving to check-in until late at night. How

late can I pick up my keys?

Our office is open twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. You can check-in at any time after

11:00 am on your scheduled day of arrival.

Question: What time do I have to vacate my room on the last day of my conference?

Checkout time is at 3:00 pm. We ask that you return your keys by this time so we can adequately

prepare the space for the next conference that will use it. Lost key charge is $.
