The islamic prayer schedule, or vaktija, is a calendar that determines the start and end times for daily prayers and the beginning and ending of the fasting month of ramadan. These times are calculated and set by religious experts in the islamic community. The calendar, which typically covers a period of one month, is called a vaktija and consists of a series of such calendars for each month of the islamic calendar.
