Experiment Report: Diodes with Special Properties (LE Diodes), Assignments of Security Analysis

An experiment report on le diodes conducted at palestine technical university's electrical engineering department. The report includes the experiment name, number, student's name, instructor's name, and data from three circuits. The discussion and conclusion sections explain the relationship between forward voltage, forward current, and brightness, as well as the non-emitting property of leds under reverse bias.

What you will learn

  • What is the relationship between forward voltage and forward current in the LE Diodes experiment?
  • Why does the LED not emit light under reverse bias?
  • How does the brightness of the emitted light depend on the forward current in the LE Diodes experiment?

Ux,y(V) Circuit A 13. Circuit B 10. Circuit C 5. Discussion & Conclusion: We see as we increase the input voltage the forward voltage increased also forward current increased so the brightness of emitting light increased hence the brightness proportional depend on forward current IF. We see that LED does not work on reverse bias ( does not emitting light ).
