BOOK REPORT.
The title of book is Amazing Leader and this writing by Silvia Tiberio. This book narrates
the biographies of different leaders in many periods of human history. During human
history, there have been many wars for many reasons, such as population power and
control of territory. This book describes the biographies of different leaders. First, William
the conqueror, the First Norman King of England, Saladin, the First Muslim leader,
Genghis Khan, leader of the mongol empire, Catherine the Great transformed Russia into
a great and successful empire, Abraham Lincon, was one of the most important presidents
of the United States, Queen Victoria who during her reign saw many changes in the history
of humanity.
In the first biography they speak of the life of William the conqueror. who lived between the
years 1027-1087, was the first nominated king of England. William’s life was always in
danger since his father's death, when he was a child. He had to start fighting, when he
invaded England, he was a very brave man to defend his territory from the attacks of
enemies, such as King Harold, In his expedition plan he conquered the whole country and
directed it from London, built many castles and collected information on the number of
people and farms in the country, this information was Scythian in the "Domesday Book",
his monarchy was long and successful, he died in Normandy in 1087, also, Saladin was
the Muslim leader who fought against the Crusaders and lived between the years 1137-
1193. He always defended his traditions and customs from enemy tribes and the
Crusades. He died in Damascus in Syria at the age of 56 in 1193. Then, Genghis Khan,
lived between the years 1155-1227 and was the leader of the Mongol empire. His parents
called him Temujin but his tribe changed the name to Genghis Khan which meant
"universal ruler" because in his life he conquered many populations. Then, Catherine the
Great lived between 1729 and 1796. She turned Russia into a great powerful empire. Her
name was Sophia Friederike Auguste changed her name to Catherine, learned to speak
Russian and joined the Russian Orthodox Church. she became the Empress of Russia
and ruled the country for more than 30 years. She was a very strong and strategic woman.
Abraham Lincoln was born between the years 1809-1865.He was the president of the
United States who stopped slavery. Born in the state of Kentucky, he didn’t have much
education as a child, but over the course of his life he studied the life of George
Washington, the Bible and the works of Shakespeare. He was president of the United
States and freed more than 3,000,000 slaves. He was murdered at the age of 56 and one
day the end of slavery was declared. Queen Victoria was born between 1819 and 1901,
during this period the Victorian era was called queen. She was one of the most famous
queens in the world. She died at the age of 81 at Osborne House on the Isle of Wight.
Finally, this book is about different biographies of historical characters, I learned about the
life of each of the characters and the influence they had on the history of humanity, In my
opinion this book is very important to learn about the history of the world. I would
recommend this book to my friends because it serves as an example to follow the lives of
men and women who have made history.
