Cajamarca is a
department of Peru
located more than
3,000 meters above
sea level. Cajamarca,
is rich in history and
culture, and is
surrounded by lush green landscapes and the Andes
mountains. Cajamarca is the capital of the Peruvian
carnival and largest city of the Cajamarca Region as well
as an important cultural and commercial center in the
northern Andes. In the city itself and it is a natural
belvedere from which the valley and the whole city of
Cajamarca can be observed. The Santa Apolonia Hill is
also in the city itself and it is a natural belvedere from
which the valley and the whole city of Cajamarca can be
observed. In addition you can many families get together
on weekends to visit the tourist centers such as Baños del
Inca, Otuzco and Namora. It has sunny days and very cold
nights. In the past the weather during the months of
December to March was rainy.
