Before watching the video, discuss what you think about this image.

Now, watch the video^2 and then, do the following activities.

In the video, the teacher punishes the students with violence. What do you think about punishments at school? Does a teacher have the right to punishing the students? If so, how can a teacher do it? Should a teacher:

 Spank  Ask a student to stand on the corner  Send the student to the principal’s office  Call the student’s parents  Forbid the student to leave the classroom during the break  Warn the student first, then punish  Deduct points  Reward good behaviour to encourage other students  Punish an entire class for the behaviour of a few students
