ENDENGERED ANIMALS
How can people help animals in extinction?
What consequences does it bring to the nature?
- it is a PPT, no words, just images. Limit date 19/04, Friday, about 3 or 4 minutes
Good evening, teacher and classmates. Today I am going to talk to you about some of the
animals that are in danger of extinction, about how humans can help them, and about three of
the main effects that their disappearance brings to the planet. Let's start by talking about the
panda bear and the polar bear. Although these animals are no longer in danger of extinction,
they are still an icon of risk. They are mainly affected by the loss of their habitat and the
climate change that increases their disappearance. Let's talk about the black rhinoceros. This
animal became extinct due to indiscriminate hunting, although other species are still protected
in national reserves or are preserved thanks to artificial insemination. On the other hand, the
sea turtle, the cheetah, and the red bear are some of the other examples of animals that are
not extinct but are in a very vulnerable situation, and we must be aware to continue
maintaining these species. You may wonder why these animals become extinct. This is due to
several reasons, such as hunting, pollution, logging, and destruction of natural habitats. In our
country, pollution is something very common; a clear example of this is the Rimac River. That
river that used to be so beautiful is now a garbage dump full of waste, affecting the marine life
that previously lived there. We know that traffic in Lima is something we deal with every day,
and cars are the main CO2 polluters, affecting the quality of the air we breathe and the animals
breathe. But the biggest problem that animal species face is the felling of trees and the
invasion of their habitats. This leaves them without a stable place to live, forcing them to
migrate and putting the coexistence between species at risk. How can we deal with these
problems? Well, it would be good to protect and restore natural habitats to preserve
biodiversity and prevent the extinction of species. This involves the creation and management
of protected areas, such as national parks and nature reserves, as well as the implementation
of sustainable land use practices to reintegrate animals into their natural habitats. To combat
illegal hunting, we must strengthen law enforcement through patrols, tougher sanctions, and
international cooperation. To finish my presentation, I will talk about the consequences that
the disappearance of animals brings to the planet. The main and most important is the massive
production of germs, since when a specific species disappears, an overpopulation of other

The main and most important is the massive production of germs, since when a specific species disappears, an overpopulation of other

species is generated, causing the death of others. animals, this in the long term would affect the balance that exists in every ecosystem. Since there is no general control of the animal population, a massive increase in germs is generated, also affecting humans. Finally, another consequence would be an increase in environmental pollution because there are some types of animals that help us regulate the production of gases, but there are other types of animals, such as cows, that generate a lot of environmental waste.
