In the first half of the year Wallix got €7,329,000 thanks to 211 new
clients that they got in that period of time. 1 The recurring business
share in long-terms increase from 38% to 40%. Despite a €1,635,000
outflow from investing activities, overall cash outflow remained under
control at €3,119,000.
In June 30, net cash and cash equivalents stood at €31.6 million
compared to shareholders' equity of €35.6 million. After the closing date,
WALLIX set up a five-year €3 million bank credit facility in July,
optimizing the balance sheet and increasing financial flexibility while
taking advantage of financing terms.
Ongoing investment increase in operating expenses by 40% meaning
€13,027,000, which made the company losses to €3,702,000.
“Investment has been heavily weighted towards payroll expenses, up
€2.5 million”.2
Thanks to the Ambition21 Plan, Wallix signed with two important tech
firms such as Trustelem and Simarks. Thanks to this, the expense-
turnover ratio is expected to peak in what is rest of 2019 before falling
under the effect of increasing sales and a slowdown in capital
expenditure growth.
